Best Puzzle Games:- Wondering what the best way to blow your
mind is? We'll have you sorted with these puzzle games—all of which were from

When Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all have the same idea, it is clearly a good one. Despite numerous differences between the 7th
generation consoles, all three share a similar feature. All three
permit owners to download classic video games from older generation
systems and newly created micro-games for a nominal fee. On the Xbox
360, these games are called Xbox Live
Arcade (XBLA) games. At present count, nearly 300 are available for
download from Xbox Live. The following are the best XBLA puzzle games to
date.
Diner Dash (Backbone Entertainment) - Point and click puzzle games are nothing new in the gaming industry. While most are quickly forgettable, Diner Dash is something special. The premise, a young woman attempting to make her newly purchased diner a success, is extremely basic, which is common for the genre. But, for various reasons, from amusing visuals to a spot on difficulty curve, this game garnered a huge fan base. About a dozen sequels currently exist, but for anyone who has never played the game, the original is the best way to start enjoying the adventure of young Flo.
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix (Backbone Entertainment) - Chibi versions of Street Fighter characters compete in a Tetris style competition. That mind-boggling statement is the premise of this surprisingly popular and addictive puzzle game. Unlike most puzzle games, this one is actually competitive. By carefully manipulating the falling gems, players cause chain reactions that put obstacles in an opponent's puzzle. One player wins only when the other player loses. While it is possible to play against a computer opponent, this game is truly at its best when playing with a real life opponent.
Arkanoid Live! (Taito) - Other than Tetris, few games have been cloned as often as this one. Basically just a solitaire version of Pong, Arkanoid is an addictive puzzle game that requires fast reflexes and a good sense of trajectory. The NES version was sold with a special controller that allowed players to fluidly move the paddle, but this technology is unnecessary with the advances in modern controllers. Despite a high difficulty, due to colorful graphics and simple game play, this game appeals to gamers of just about every age and is a good purchase for children.
